Information you provide

We process account details, profile information, answers, activity logs, friend connections, status updates, messages, reports, and content you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically

We may receive device information, app version, approximate country or region, page views, button and link clicks, crash reports, performance diagnostics, and security signals to operate, protect, and improve Useless. For web traffic, we retain the source IP address for up to 30 days for security, fraud investigation, and operational analytics. Access is restricted to authorized owners. We also create a daily rotating one-way visitor code for aggregate estimates.

How information is used

We provide daily questions, games, social features, notifications, personalization, moderation, fraud prevention, support, analytics, and account administration. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and service providers

Information is shared only as needed with infrastructure, analytics, crash-reporting, payment, notification, and safety providers acting for us, or where law requires it. Friend-visible information follows the audience controls shown in the product.

Retention and deletion

Raw web IP addresses expire automatically after 30 days. Other information is retained while your account is active and as needed for security, legal obligations, disputes, and fraud prevention. You can edit your profile or request account deletion in the app.

Your choices

You can manage visibility, notifications, blocked accounts, profile information, and appearance. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or deletion.

Children and adult content

Useless is not intended for children under 13. Experiences marked 18+ are restricted to adults. Alcohol is optional in every drinking game and skipping is always permitted.
